I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Systems Technology (CST) at New York City College of Technology and a Doctoral Faculty member of The Graduate School and University Center’s PhD Program in Computer Science of the City University of New York (CUNY). I am currently serving as the Chair-Elect of the ASEE (American Society for Engineering Education) Mid Atlantic Section.

My research is centered on Data Mining and Big Data Analytics. I am also interested Educational Data Mining Research.

I received my MS and PhD degrees in Computer Science from University at Albany, State University of New York. Prior to joining City Tech, I was a Research Software Design Engineer at Microsoft in Redmond, WA, where I worked on Core Algorithms team of Microsoft’s Search Engine Bing.
